• Chase Ultimate Rewards points are typically worth 1.5 cents each when used through Chase Travel.
• IHG One Rewards points are often valued at 0.5 cents each, and even with the 80% bonus, you’re only getting about 0.9 cents per Chase point.

So, although you receive more IHG points, the value per point decreases. Converting Chase points to IHG under this promotion means sacrificing value compared to other Chase partners (e.g., airlines or Hyatt).
