Practical Stayover: InterContinental At Doral Miami Unveiled

I had a recent one-night stopover at the InterContinental At Doral Miami and as always, I got a suite allocated to me but booked a premium room.
The club floor on the 5th is open and has been for a few months now as it was in the bar area in a small sectioned-off area. There is a wonderful Ecuadorian man who served all the guests drinks and kept the drinks flowing for two hours (can’t remember his name but he is a regular there).
The hotel is easy to get to from MIA and has a great pool area and a good bar downstairs. I have used this hotel many times for a one-night stopover and it’s a good stopover.
The hotel is a bit dated but it’s clean and has good service although the bell captain does a great job of disappearing when you appear out of a taxi with your bags there is a shuttle service that covers 3miles so you can hop on it to retail outlets if you want to shop or go out for the day.
