IHG One Rewards, the loyalty program of IHG Hotels & Resorts, is introducing a new offering: the ‘2X Unlimited’ Promotion. This initiative is designed to reward members with double the usual points on qualifying stays.
Registration and Eligibility
Members have the opportunity to pre-register for the offer until December 31, 2024.
The Offer is valid from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025 (“Promotion Period”). Those who did not have time to pre-register can do so during this period as well. A participant can register only once.

Qualifying Criteria for Stays
Members earn twice the points on eligible room nights during the promotion period. A ‘Promotion Eligible Qualifying Stay’ includes a minimum one-night stay at a participating hotel, booked under a Qualifying Rate, with expenditure exceeding US $30 per night.
*Notably, bookings made through online travel agencies or using Rewards Nights or Points & Cash do not qualify.
Points Calculation and Usage
Under this promotion, members earn double the base points accrued as IHG One Rewards members. For example, a $100 room rate at an IHG hotel with a 10 points per USD rate would normally earn 1,000 base points. Under this promotion, an additional 1,000 promotional bonus points are added, totaling 2,000 points.
For instance:
- A member spending $100 per night at an IHG property with a 10 points per dollar earn rate would earn:
- 1,000 base points (10 x $100).
- 1,000 bonus points under the 2X promotion.
- Total: 2,000 points.
Elite bonus points or other promotional points do not factor into the calculation.
Hotel Brand Participation
The promotion applies to all participating IHG hotels and resorts, except:
Select Iberostar Beachfront Resorts locations.
Non-participating Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas properties.
How Can Bonus Points Be Used?
Points earned during the promotion can be redeemed for:
