Participate in This Promotion

To participate in this promotion, Marriott Bonvoy members must meet certain requirements:

Booking Requirements

• Minimum Stay Duration: A “stay” is defined as two or more consecutive nights spent at the same property. Even if a guest checks out and checks in again during the same booking, it is still considered a single stay.
• Promotion Period: The booking must take place between September 1 and September 20, 2024, and the stay must be completed no later than December 31, 2024.
• Minimum Spend: The total cost of the stay must exceed $1,000 USD (or the equivalent in other currencies). Expenses like taxes, booking fees, and cleaning fees do not count toward this amount.

Earning Double Elite Night Credits

Once members complete an eligible stay, they will earn one additional bonus Elite Night Credit for each paid night, doubling the usual number of credits for the stay. These credits will be posted to the member’s account within three to six weeks (21-42 days) after checkout.

It’s important to note that the double Elite Night Credits will count only toward the status year in which the credits are posted, not the year of the stay. This allows members to potentially qualify for a higher status tier in the current year.

Points Earning

In addition to the bonus Elite Night Credits, members will also earn five base Points for every U.S. dollar (or the foreign currency equivalent) spent on qualifying charges. 

These charges include the room rate but not additional fees like cleaning services, taxes, or add-ons. Points will automatically be posted to the member’s account within 72 hours of completing their stay.

Ineligible Stays and Other Restrictions

Certain types of stays and charges do not qualify for this promotion, including:

• Award Stays: Stays paid with Marriott Bonvoy points, or partially with points, do not qualify.
• Marriott Branded Residences: While some Marriott Participating Brand Residences are listed on the HVMB platform, they are not eligible for Marriott Bonvoy loyalty points or this promotion.
• Third-Party Bookings: Bookings made through third-party platforms like Expedia or Airbnb are not eligible for this promotion.
• Earning Miles Instead of Points: Members who have chosen to earn airline miles instead of Marriott Bonvoy Points are not eligible for the double Elite Night Credits promotion.

Additionally, cancellations or no-shows do not earn any points or Elite Night Credits, and any issues related to incomplete or incorrect information may delay the posting of credits or points.
