A new Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge opened at Boston Logan International Airport. As part of Chase Bank’s investment in the Greater Boston area, it introduces one of its signature lounges to the airport’s newest terminal.

Inside the Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounge
The Boston location is the second top open in a lineup of Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounges planned for airports globally. The first lounge opened in Hong Kong in August 2022; the latest is the first to open in the US. It’s located in Terminal B between gates B39 and B40—United Airlines, Spirit Airlines, Air Canada, Southwest Airlines, American Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Boutique Air all operate flights here.
Chase Sapphire Reserve partners with The Club – an airport lounge chain with 18 locations worldwide including a newly opened San Francisco location – to give travelers a stylish place to wait for their flight (or unwind after a long haul). It blends elements of Boston combined with signature features familiar with the Hong Kong location to create a welcoming space.

Who’s Eligible to Enter the Chase Sapphire Lounge?
Due to previous overcrowding, companies like Delta are making their Sky Club lounges harder to get into. Chase Sapphire Lounge intends to keep its spaces a premium amenity with access for loyalty members who signed up with Priority Pass. Select Chase cardholders receive a complimentary Priority Pass Select membership with their account. However, depending on which card you have, you’ll have different requirements to enter. Here’s a breakdown:

The JP Morgan Reserve is for the bank’s premium clients, but the Chase Sapphire Reserve card is a popular everyday travel credit card with many other benefits in addition to airport lounge access. A few of the travel perks cardholders get include:
- $300 annual travel credit
- Earn 5x points on flights booked with Chase Unlimited Rewards (after spending the annual travel credit)
- Earn 10x points on hotels and car rentals (after spending the annual Travel credit)
- Get 50% more point value when redeemed for travel with Chase Unlimited Rewards
- Global Entry, TSA PreCheck, or NEXUS fee credit
The good news is that even travelers without a Chase Card can experience the lounge. Cardholders from competing banks like the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and the Platinum Card from American Express that signed up for the Priority Pass can enter.
Having Priority Pass membership through credit card affiliation is one of the best ways to access the lounge. However, travelers can purchase their membership directly and enjoy access to the new Chase Sapphire Reserve–regardless if you have a Chase (or other bank) credit card. Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounges Expanding Foothold in the US
The new Boston airport lounge is the second out of nine Chase Sapphire Reserve Lounges already planned to open worldwide. They will be in major airport hubs to attract the many Chase customers that travel through them. Here’s a list of all the current and upcoming lounges:
