Wyndham Rewards’ recurring double-miles transfer bonus to United MileagePlus is back as of early October 2026, doubling the normal 5:1 conversion rate to roughly 2.5 Wyndham points per United mile. There’s no published end date for this run — Wyndham typically runs this offer for a few weeks at a time without a fixed public calendar, so the only reliable way to confirm it’s still live is to check the Wyndham transfer portal directly before converting.

How to Convert Points to Miles
The process for converting Wyndham Rewards points into United MileagePlus miles involves a few steps:
- Log in to your Wyndham Rewards account online.
- Enter your United MileagePlus account number.
- Select the number of points to convert — transfers only go through in fixed increments: 6,000, 16,000, or 30,000 points.
- Confirm the conversion. Once a request is submitted, it can’t be reversed.
Conversion Rates
Wyndham’s standard rate is 5 Wyndham points per 1 United mile. This promotion doubles that to roughly 2.5 Wyndham points per mile:
- 6,000 Wyndham Rewards points = 2,400 United MileagePlus miles
- 16,000 Wyndham Rewards points = 6,400 United MileagePlus miles
- 30,000 Wyndham Rewards points = 12,000 United MileagePlus miles
Each conversion has to be a single transaction — smaller transfers don’t aggregate, so you can’t combine multiple small conversions to reach a better effective rate. There’s also a cap: up to 60,000 Wyndham points per single transfer, and 90,000 points total across all transfers during this promotion.
The 25% Stacking Bonus Isn’t Currently Running
In past cycles, this double-miles offer has occasionally stacked with a separate +25% bonus on the United side, pushing the effective rate closer to 2:1 — for example, 30,000 Wyndham points would return 15,000 United miles instead of 12,000. That 25% bonus isn’t active right now. If you’re not in a hurry, it may be worth waiting a few weeks to see whether it returns before converting a large balance, since stacking both offers meaningfully improves the rate.
Is This a Good Use of Wyndham Points?
Whether this makes sense depends on how you’d otherwise use your Wyndham points. Wyndham points generally return more value booking Wyndham hotel stays directly, or through Wyndham’s affiliation with Vacasa, than converted into airline miles at a 5:1 (or even 2.5:1) rate. But if you’re sitting on a Wyndham balance you’re not going to use for hotel stays, or you need to top up a United MileagePlus account for a specific redemption, this promotion is one of the better windows to do that conversion — just confirm the offer is still live on Wyndham’s site immediately before you transfer, since conversions can’t be undone.
